CEIBS EMBA Class Committee Teams 2015-2025 reunion

🧑‍🎓CEIBS Gl. EMBA Class Committee 2015-2025 Teams reunion 🫂

During the reunion, an alumni kept reminding us that when you stood for election for the class committee, it was above everything else to serve your class. Whether we could have done better, well that's why the school brought together 10 different cohorts to discuss best practises, in a brilliantly structured session - not expecting otherwise from the no. 1 biz school!

We quickly discovered that the committee's role comes with a hefty responsibility - far beyond what you'd find in any other program. We’re tasked with defining our class structure, vision, identity, planning, budgeting, and, of course, delivering on that mission. This has been built on a decades long tradition at the school to ensure we're not just a bunch of well-meaning individuals but a cohesive unit with a mission.

What we’re doing here is a miniature version of the practices we learn throughout the program - albeit in an arena where none of us had formal training. This wouldn’t be possible without the incredible dedication of our team and the unwavering support from our classmates.

More importantly for our class of 22, we are not done and we received some great ideas for how we all can continue our journey together, because as the school keep telling us, 'never say goodbye'.

Truly hope our class can continue to live by the motto that got us here, 'forward and further'.

A lot of thanks: our GE22 reps - CY Wong & Roy (Cheng) Lin, PCC and CCs Yuqi Wei & Sarah Yujie Liu, the CEIBS Global Executive MBA Programme office for putting this together (with a dinner!), esp. Isa Luo, Alexis K. Georgiou, Alicia Bi, our impromptu session group Alex Roberts 罗世轩 (and Oscar deserving charade master), Yoann DELWARDE - 岱永安, Winston Saehoon Kim, Guirong LI and Lisa, and to all the attending classmates (great to see old faces and new ones!), some even after a decade, that keep coming back to make this school better!
