CEIBS EMBA exit module

#4sentences (that's the attention span we are afforded - or else, red card!)

We returned to my favourite classroom one last time, where the light of knowledge (and actual natural light..) projected deeply on us. This leadership series is the best example of how you achieve high-performing teams - 2 years ago we were put in a team of "strangers", we then upped our game during mid-term and at the end formed a powerful secure base to draw energy from.

In that safe space, we went deep to understand our leadership persona, drawing parallels and extracting conclusions - in my case, became obvious, passion is my fuel. Also, we got our last free ("well, almost" as Prof. Viktar Fedaseyeu would say) feedback gift, putting that (smelly) fish on the table - lesson taken, being kind trumps being nice.

There's such divisiveness today - who's right? No one! Reality is the same, but perception is key - so rather than pushing your way, think positively, ask the right questions, harness the power of dialogue and together you might just find the truth. We were assigned a coach 2y ago, who guided us through this leadership journey and was humble enough to confess to having grown with us - eternal thanks to coach Ping Kang. Kudos to the leadership group I've grown in this journey with and learned so much from CY Grace Joanna Zhao Joanne Tim Weiming. But also, the insightful individual sharings (even Yes, No, Yes..).

Mamma mia, that was some learning, thanks to hostage negotiator Prof. George Kohlrieser, Associate Dean Prof. Katherine Xin, Felicia and the whole CEIBS Global Executive MBA Programme. We found solace in this program, and we felt bonded to it, with this completion entailing our separation, we now grieve and hope we become better selves.

It was called "exit module", but there is never an ending to learning, if we remain eternally curious, as well-said by Prof. George.
