π CEIBS Shenzhen - it's drawing to an end
Itβs hard to believe that two years of my EMBA program have flown by in a heartbeat! π Official graduation is just around the corner, but before I toss my cap in the air, I had one last item on my bucket list: honoring the "China Breath of our Global Breath" motto by visiting the Shenzhen campus of China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
Just like our young school, the city has transformed from agriculture to a dazzling metropolis in just a few years. Similarly it took me only a few, 14 to be precise, minutes to get to Shenzhen from Hong Kong. Not sure why I waited so long to visit the campus, especially now that I can proudly call myself a South China alum. π
Our Associate Dean Bala Ramasamy reminded us to channel our inner traders from the old days of South China as a trade hub to explore partnerships and serving as school ambassadors abroad. Yes, weβre always on the lookout for value-added collaborations - companies, students, you name it π€
Teaching there was our brilliant Prof. Viktar Fedaseyeu on startups and valuations. My key takeaway? Our program is seriously undervalued - despite our no. 1 ranking in Financial Times π
So great to see my dear classmates, friends, making new ones, which shows our ever growing community π
π Isa Luo, Ruru, Alex Chen, Alexis K. Georgiou and all the CEIBS Global Executive MBA Programme office, and ofc Judy for always charming the classes with her presence!
