Fosun's Protechting startups China roadshow - Macau stop

A decade ago, Fosun 复星 made its first splash in Portugal with a €1 billion stake in Fidelidade. Fast forward to today, they're still going strong - and doubling down on their commitment with an innovative twist.

Enter Protechting Connect, powered by the Fosun Foundation复星基金会 and how they brought three standout Portuguese and a Brazilian entrepreneur to four Chinese cities to supercharge their growth, accompanied by José Villa de Freitas, Fiona Pei, Filipe Estrela and Inês Luz Ramalho.

We were glad to meet them in Macau, where their pitches left us mouthwatering:

🔁 LoopOS (by Ricardo Morgado) – Don't they say that "everything that goes around comes around"..!

😴 SleepUp (Renata Redondo Bonaldi) – Guess that's the end to my insomnias..

🏢 OWLplaces (Pedro Resende) – For them real estate moguls, plan, improve and report your sustainability!

💰 Granter (Bernardo Tavares) – Who wouldn’t want help snagging a government subsidy?

Thanks to Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre, thro Andy Wu-cong and Helen Pun, and the 珠海大横琴投资有限公司, for hosting and bridging the gap between these bright minds and Macau’s entrepreneurial scene. Here's to more cross-border collabs - and who knows a SleepUp prototype sent my way? 🛌💡

P.S. Fosun Foundation, if you’re reading this, happy to volunteer next time for the rest of trip, particularly at that stunning building at the bund in Shanghai where I studied..
