🌍 When East Meets West (with a dash of Macau magic)
Honored to be interviewed by The Platform China - Portuguese Speaking Countries, an initiative launched by the China Ministry of Commerce and Macau Secretary of the Economy Office as a living example of what makes Macau so special: a true bridge between East and West!
As someone with a Western upbringing and over 12 years in Asia (particularly in China), I've seen firsthand how Macau’s unique blend of Portuguese heritage and Chinese dynamism creates the perfect "platform" cocktail (and yes, the legal system here is like a pastel de nata - flaky layers with a sweet, distinct core under "one country, two systems".
As long as Macau's uniqueness remains appreciated - being China's open door to Portuguese-speaking countries (and the other way round) - we'll keep connecting dots (and oceans) đź’¬
