UCLA EMBA exchange - CEIBS

What a week at UCLA, set on the back of #Hollywood in the beautiful hills of #LA where the concept of "business casual" definitely differs from mine, but was very much enjoyed). Shout outs to:

- 1st, got to work with incredible people from all walks of life, not only #EMBAs (& MBAs) from UCLA Anderson School of Management (jealous of that amazing campus sunset btw - evidence attached..), but also London Business School, SDA Bocconi, Esade, Melbourne Business School, Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa.

- Todd Holloway quelled the #AI unnerve and explained us how to get onboard (or kinda lose the train..), with actual application (in case, disrupting the travel agency industry) with the brilliant creativity of fellow groupies Lara Maria Gessica Bastia, Daniel Bono (go Marines!), Alfrantz Lolagne, PMP, CSM, Michael Norton, CPA, CFP® (who got so excited over the work, went traveling before the presentation..).

- Andres Terech showed us how hard it is to spark innovation (actual one, not incremental!) in New Product Development - just check a fridge ad from the 50s.. Laura Helmert Tanuja Jain Victor Li 李玉方毅 Gigi and myself had to then figure how to bring a product to market (still working that one out..).

- Terry Kramer, great talk on politics as a force for good and how looking for common ground is actually not that difficult when engaging in reasonable conservations.

Thks to our school CEIBS Global Executive MBA Programme for arranging this and getting us Gigi Duan Marco Kiefer Leo Xiuxing Chen Ian Duvenage there, and appreciated for the great reception by Lucy, Joanna Danielak, Alena K. And yes, I'm keeping my Bruin card !

A final worthy mention to the dear friends at US Consulate General in Hong Kong (#DOS) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (#DHS), for the smooth onboarding to participate in this exchange (after a slightly more challenging online application). #UnitedStatesofAmerica
